    • CAUSE: CORRECTION: CONFIRMED CUSTOMER CONCERN. FOUND CODE FOR P0344
    • Camshaft Position Sensor Intermittent – Bank 1 Sensor 1. CHECKED OVER WIRING AND SENSOR AND FOUND THAT THE MOUNTING BOLT FOR THE CAM SENSOR TO BE LOOSE. REINSTALLED BOLT PROPERLY SO SENSOR WAS HELD IN PLACE. TESTED OPERATION AND FOUND SENSOR TO BE READING ERRATIC. INSTALLED OEM SENSOR AND TESTED. FOUND SIGNAL GOOD NOW. TEST DROVE AND FOUND CODE TO RETURN. FOUND ISSUE TO OCCUR WHEN CAMSHAFT IS ATTEMPTING TO PHASE. NEED TO REMOVE SENSOR AND EXAMINE TONE RING ON CAMSHAFT PHASER. EXAMINED THE PHASER AND NOTICED NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE. FOUND WHEN RUNNING AT 2000 RPM THE PHASER IS SHAKING AND RATTLING. NEED TO REPLACE CAM PHASER.
    • CAMSHAFT GEAR OR SPROCKET – Remove & Replace – 5.7L Eng,4WD Variable Camshaft Timing,Phaser
    • Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Road test vehicle.

    • CAUSE: RIGHT REAR LIGHT SOCKET FAILED. CORRECTION: CONFIRMED CUSTOMER CONCERN. FOUND RIGHT SIDE BRAKE LIGHT NOT WORKING. CHECKED BULB AND FOUND TO BE GOOD. TESTED POWER TO THE BULB AND FOUND ONLY GETTING 9.6V WITH NO CURRENT. TESTED WIRING AND FOUND ALL WIRING TO BE GOOD FROM THE TIPM TO THE BRAKE LIGHT CONNECTOR AND FOUND TO BE GOOD. TESTED THE TAIL LIGHT SOCKET BOARD AND FOUND NO CONTINUITY THROUGH THE BRAKE LIGHT BULB. HOOKED UP ALL CONNECTORS TO THE TIPM AND FOUND ALL IS WORKING AS IT SHOULD. NEED TO REPLACE BRAKE LIGHT SOCKET BOARD ASSEMBLY.

    • CAUSE: VALVE COVER GASKETS LEAKING CORRECTION: CONFIRMED CUSTOMERS CONCERN. CLEANED ENGINE AREA AND TEST DROVE VEHICLE. DETERMINED SOURCE OF OIL LEAK FROM BOTH VALVE COVER GASKETS. RECOMMEND REPLACING VALVE COVER GASKETS.
